We are working with craftsman in Indonesia, in an area that has been revitalized since 2010, to benefit on it's abundant natural resources. The area is run mostly by small hold farmers who cultivate the land and replant and rejuvenate the plantations. The Ministry of Agriculture's revitalization program has helped improve their lives and reestablished growth to the land.
Rubberwood lumber is typically taken from rubber plantations where the trees are tapped for latex, and harvested at the end of their useful life cycle—typically after about thirty years.
